
PETER F. HEDLEY - - President of Galaxie Defense Marketing Services. A licensed Merchant Marine Engineer and retired Captain in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Hedley has had extensive surface navy experience in operational coordination with U.S. Marine Corp, submarine, naval air, and special warfare commands. He had responsibility for five commands including the Pacific Fleet Amphibious Aviation Readiness Squadron of 12 ships and 6,500 personnel and has significant expertise in fleet hull, mechanical and electrical system requirements and deficiencies as well as maintenance and repair of combat and main propulsion systems.
After leaving the Navy, Mr. Hedley worked for Alliant Techsystems in business development, facilities and Congressional liaison roles. He has served on the boards of Surface Navy Association and the National Defense Industrial Association and the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association.
VINCENT LAWRENCE - - Vice President/Director of Business Development. Mr. Lawrence retired from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer
and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. With extensive experience in Logistics Management, he is responsible for the day-to-day operation of GDMS, with specific emphasis
on government and OEM sales of customer products. Mr. Lawrence works in partnership with clients on researching
markets, establishing business objectives, formulating plans and implementing
procedures aimed at maximizing their sales revenues. GDMS is currently a manufacturers’ representative for seven
different companies with product lines that account for more than $18 million in
annual sales.
WILLIAM BOYD - - Product Marketing Specialist. Product Marketing Specialist -- Mr. Boyd has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and has worked on research and development for a broad range of products and programs including power supplies for computer, automotive and aerospace equipment manufacturers. He is actively involved in product marketing to companies including BAE, Pacific Scientific and ATK Thiokol.
THOMAS A. CAUGHLAN - - Director of Marine Corps Programs. A retired Marine Corps Colonel and former Naval Aviator, Mr. Caughlan specializes in serving clients who are interesting in developing strong sales relationships with decision makers in the Marine Corps, Army, and Joint Special Operations Commands.
TERRY C. CORCORAN - - Undersea Programs Business Developer. Mr. Corcoran has more than 34 years of experience in engineering, business development and management at companies including Raytheon, Hughes, Honeywell and Alliant Techsystems. He has served on the Executive Board of the Undersea Warfare Division of the National Defense Industrial Association.
C. DAVID DePRIEST - - Electronic Warfare and Acquisition Specialist. Mr. DePriest, an electrical engineer and retired Air Force Colonel, has worked with the Air Force as a director on electronic warfare management and acquisition programs. He also was new business development manager for a supplier of advanced electronics technology solutions to government and businesses worldwide.
DANIEL KELLEHER - - Aerospace Software Specialist. Mr. Kelleher is a retired Air Force Colonel who has held key assignments in developing and supporting programs for such diverse projects as C-17 software, F-16 engine performance, U-2 reconnaissance system studies, and advanced weapons system programs.
CHARLES J. LAUDAN - - Commercial & Defense OEM Representative. Mr. Laudan has more than 25 years of experience in purchasing, design and manufacturing engineering for an international aerospace corporation. He has specific expertise in negotiating complex technical bid and RFP packages.
SHEPARD MAIS - - DoD Contracts Manager. Mr. Mais has a MBA degree and long-term experience in contract negotiation and administration after working for a number of companies that serve the federal government. Most recently, he was director of contract compliance for a San Diego-based diversified technology company that provided products and services to military and commercial customers.
GARY MILLER - - Avionics Specialist. Mr. Miller is a former Air Force officer who has worked on avionics maintenance and electronic warfare inspection programs. He also was a manager on a C-130 technical data integration program. He is a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
RICK SCHWARTZ - - Defense Sales & Marketing Specialist . Mr. Schwartz has more than 37 years of experience in defense technology R&D. In addition, he was Director of Defense Systems for Alliant Techsystems and has worked in sales and marketing for companies including Honeywell’s Aerospace & Defense and Ordnance Divisions.
MICHAEL WOIWODE - - Aviation Consultant. A mechanical engineer and retired Captain and Flight Officer for the U.S. Navy, Mr. Woiwode held positions as technical director as well as marketing director for a company that supplies navigation and communications equipment to the Navy, Department of Homeland Security and manufacturers of umanned aerial vehicles. He is on the National Board of Trustees of the National Defense Industrial Association and is a past president and Board member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
